Cranberry Juice May Prevent Ulcers. Cranberry juice can help prevent urinary tract infections and now scientists say it also could help ward off ulcers by preventing Helicobacter pylori from adhering to the lining of the stomach. Data from one trial in China showed that drinking one cup of cranberry juice each day got rid of H. pylori in three times as many subjects as a daily placebo juice.
